Crystal Palace player ratings vs Norwich as Odsonne Edouard shines in 3-0 win at Selhurst Park

Vicente Guaita - 6

Wasn't really called upon in the first half until the final moments when he first flapped at a cross that almost allowed Christos Tzolis to score before then mistiming a punch from a free-kick moments later.

Made a smart stop to deny Przemyslaw Placheta from close range on the hour mark.

Tyrick Mitchell - 7

Beautiful pass to release Odsonne Edouard for the second goal of the game. Was always a willing receiver and looked to pass the ball into the forwards as quickly as he could which started several counter-attacks.

Joachim Andersen - 6

More long balls from the back from the Danish international today which Palace had sorely missed from their attacking play over the last month. A clean sheet would be a big confidence booster for him going forward. Needed to come off in the second half after taking a knock.

Marc Guehi - 7

Drove into midfield with the ball at his feet on a few occasions to good effect. His presence in the defence is a calming one and his pace is sorely missed when he's not in the team.

Joel Ward - 6

Produced a brilliant piece of defending to deny Christos Tzolis at the end of the first half. Was combative and aggressive throughout in a real captain's performance.

Cheikhou Kouyate - 7

Was everywhere during the first half an hour, breaking up play and generally running the midfield show. Will be a very sore miss when he leaves for AFCON.

Will Hughes - 7

Immediately involved to draw the foul in the box that drew the challenge from Kenny McLean and won Palace a penalty. Kept things ticking over afterwards and was consistently working hard and putting in a shift.

Jeffrey Schlupp - 7

Did well to rob Billy Gilmour of the ball on 20 minutes but should have then squared for a teammate instead of going alone. Made up for that with his goal to put Palace 3-0 up which saw him put his foot through the ball and leather it into the bottom corner past Gunn.

Odsonne Edouard - 8

Dispatched his penalty excellently past Gunn into the bottom corner to get his fourth Premier League goal of the season. Did well for the second goal to find Mateta with a smart pull-back into the box. Was heavily involved in the third goal too as he kept hold of the ball in the box before it fell to Schlupp to smash home.

Continued to impress in the second half despite having fewer chances.

Jean-Philippe Mateta - 7

Released early on by Hughes but fired into the side netting from a difficult angle before getting it spot on shortly after when he found the bottom corner. Didn't have too many clear-cut chances after that other than an effort he snatched at in the second half.

Jordan Ayew - 7

Another workmanlike performance from the Ghanaian whose input over the December period can't be understated. Had a few moments of trickery and skill that got the fans off their seats.

Substitutes

Luka Milivojevic (for Will Hughes 72')

First appearance since the home game against Aston Villa back in November. Was back on corner duty and delivered some good balls into the box.

Christian Benteke (for Jean-Philippe Mateta 80') - N/A

Great finish with his head to put the ball in the net late on but was correctly flagged for offside.

James Tomkins (for Joachim Andersen 82') - N/A
