Crystal Palace player ratings: Milivojevic, Van Aanholt and Dann poor in Burnley demolition

Vicente Guaita : Could do nothing about either Gudmundsson's opener or Rodriguez's header minutes later. Struggled with deliveries into the box, getting flailing punches on the ball. Again, left with no chance for Burnley's third. 5

Nathaniel Clyne : Was touch-tight to Rodriguez but caught ball watching as the striker was allowed to simply nod home the second. Put in a great cross that was well-cleared. 5

Scott Dann : A catastrophe with Van Aanholt that allowed Gudmundsson to score the opener. Struggled against Barnes' physicality. Passing was also off as Burnley allowed him time and space on the ball. 3

Cheikhou Kouyate : Struggled up against Rodriguez and Barnes. Missed a header that almost allowed Rodriguez in, but recovered. 4

Patrick van Aanholt : A huge mix-up with Dann that allowed the opener. Sent sprawling by Lowton in the build up to the third. His attacking play wasn't quite at the races either. 3

Jordan Ayew : Did well in patches, winning free-kicks and running with the ball well. Put in a cross for a Benteke header. Seemed one of the only players to truly be putting in a shift. 6

Luka Milivojevic : Won a ball before feeding Benteke and overlapping - the striker probably should have returned it to him. Had numerous opportunities in the first half to put balls in the box, but his deliveries were poor. Misplaced a header and was then brushed past for the third. Cork got the better of him throughout. 3

Jairo Riedewald : Nice early tackle and drive forward that should have given Palace a chance to get a shot away. Some good passes and his effort level never dropped. 6

Ebere Eze : Found Benteke in the box early but the striker couldn't get a shot away cleanly. His passing was off all day, but it was notable how often he was doubled up on. His first touch was also off. Became a bit of a periphery figure out wide in perhaps his least impressive display for Palace. 4

Michy Batshuayi : Some decent link up with Benteke and Eze in the first half, just missing that decisive part to grab a goal. Looked lively but could not find a way through and was replaced. 4

Christian Benteke : A little selfish in shooting twice when he perhaps could have found a teammate in a better position in the early stages. Tested Pope with a couple of shots. Occasional flashes of attacking impetus, but on the whole it was below par and he was replaced. 5

Subs

Andros Townsend: Had a couple of opportunities to put in crosses, but saw them cleared. A little too much power on a shot he lifted over.

Jean-Philippe Mateta: Had little opportunity to impose himself on the game at 3-0 down with 15 minutes remaining.
