Vicente Guaita : Ultimately a quiet day in terms of shots on target, but showed good handling to deal with some low crosses, and claimed several crosses. 7
Joel Ward : Looked like it might be a tough day with West Brom attacking down his flank for much of the first half, but worked well. 6
Cheikhou Kouyate : Diagne looked to cause him troubles early on. Did really well in one instance to rob him by the byline and move classily on the ball up to the halfway line. A no-nonsense approach in the second half. 7
Gary Cahill : Made some good clearances but was caused problems with West Brom looking down the channel. Made one good recovery tackle and pretty much everything in the air. 7
Patrick van Aanholt : A tireless performance in defence, rarely got beaten. Not quite as fluid as he would have liked in attack, but played a role in the opening for the first goal with a quick free-kick to Zaha. 7
Luka Milivojevic : A lovely early ball to Van Aanholt caught the eye early on. The coolest man on the pitch to slot home the opener from 12 yards. Worked hard in the second half to prevent anything going centrally for the Baggies. 7
Jairo Riedewald : Looked to progress the ball up the park. Got a bit of a rollicking in the second half for switching off from a throw, but quickly got back into it and showed some nice passing. 6
Ebere Eze: Good work to win the ball and link well with Benteke to find Zaha for a cross. Did some good work defensively. His passing wasn't quite coming off, despite some ambitious efforts causing big problems for the Baggies. An improvement on recent performances. 7
Jordan Ayew: An unfortunate air-shot when an opportunity fell his way on the edge of the box. Some really good work to win possession and link up well with Zaha and Benteke. Showed some good running on the ball and was just a shade off finding Benteke following a great run. 7
Wilfried Zaha: Lively from the off. Kept working down the left flank and his cross won the penalty. A big threat and played in Benteke with a nice pass. Showed plenty of effort going back as well, playing cutely to win a goal-kick. 7
Christian Benteke: Good work to link with Eze early on and won his fair share of aerial battles. Came close with an effort from the edge of the box, but a good save denied him. Great effort and link play to force an opening, but saw his shot blocked behind for a corner. A good performance, all in all. 7
