Crystal Palace are set to join the race to sign Ryan Christie from Celtic, according to a report.
The midfielder is out of contract in six months and is likely to leave the club this summer as Celtic try to get a fee for him.
Nice are also interested in him and had a bid rejected for Christie last summer - when Patrick Vieira was manager of the club.
And now the Arsenal legend is set to take over at Palace and make Christie one of his top targets for the summer.
The Sunday Mail report the Frenchman is determined to get him and has been a big fan of Christie’s for more than a year and will step it up when he is officially confirmed as new boss, and that could be as early as today.
He was impressed by the Scotland star’s performances against Rennes in the Europa League and believes he can be a key player in a new look Crystal Palace team.
The Eagles have a host of players out of contract and are hoping to build a new squad ahead of the new season.
Christie is also still wanted by Ligue 1 side Monaco while a number of English Premier League clubs are interested in signing him.
He’s yet to train with Celtic under Ange Postecoglou after being on international duty during Euro 2020.
