Crystal Palace defensive duo Aaron Wan-Bissaka and James Tomkins are available to face Manchester United on Saturday in a double injury boost for manager Roy Hodgson.
Wan-Bissaka withdrew from the England Under-21 squad because of a shoulder problem and Tomkins suffered a knee injury against Tottenham before the international break, but both players have returned to training and are available for the trip to Old Trafford.
Wilfried Zaha is also fit to face his former club after recovering from a hamstring problem, and Mamadou Sakho was being assessed today after suffering a back injury while playing for France on Tuesday.
Wan-Bissaka and Tomkins have been two of Palace’s most consistent performers this season and their availability is a major lift for the 16th-placed Eagles.
Palace are without a win in seven Premier League games and being strong defensively at Old Trafford will be important for a team struggling to score goals having managed just eight so far.
