Crystal Palace defender perfectly sums up how fans are feeling after home draw with Everton

Crystal Palace and Everton played out a goalless draw at home at Selhurst Park yesterday (Saturday).

The two sides, who are both safe in the Premier League, shared the spoils in south London, with the Eagles holding on for a point amid pressure from the visitors.

Everton dominated for large periods in the game, but were unable to make the breakthrough, with Vicente Guaita making a good save to deny Cenk Tosun, while Patrick van Aanholt made a great tackle to deny Richarlison.

And the Dutchman has taken to social media to give his view on the game, summing up how Palace fans will have felt about a game in which the Eagles failed to register a shot on target.

Every word Palace boss Roy Hodgson just said on Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Wilfried Zaha & Everton

He said: "Not a lot I can say about a 0-0 really other than all defenders and keepers are happy with those FPL points."

The Toffees had 22 shots at goal, with just three on target, while Palace had eight attempts at goal, with none on target as the game was, unsurprisingly, last on BBC programme Match of the Day last night (Saturday).

The alternative table that proves Unai Emery's Arsenal are feared by Premier League opponents

The draw leaves Palace in 12th place in the Premier League table with two games to go, with the Eagles set to face Cardiff City in south Wales next weekend, before finishing the season with a home game against AFC Bournemouth.
