'Crying like he did against Leeds!' - Liverpool fans mock Frank Lampard after Jurgen Klopp spat

Chelsea's quest for a Champions League spot will go down to the final day of the season following their 5-3 defeat at Liverpool on Wednesday evening.

Slipping down to fourth as a result of their loss on Merseyside, the Blues take on Wolves, who are in a battle for a place in the Europa League, on Sunday afternoon at Stamford Bridge.

Three points will be enough to see them qualify for Europe's top competition, while a point would also be enough providing that Leicester City don't beat Manchester United.

With Liverpool finally getting their hands on the Premier League after the game against Chelsea, there was a major flashpoint in the game between Frank Lampard and counterpart Jurgen Klopp.

Lampard on the comparisons between Pulisic and Hazard

The Chelsea head coach was fuming that the hosts had won a free-kick following a Mateo Kovacic challenge on Sadio Mane and he quickly made his feelings known.

In a video that has been shared online, the club's record goalscorer could be heard telling Liverpool assistant Pepijn Lijnders to 'sit down' and stating that the tackle was 'not a foul'.

He could also be heard saying 'It's not a f***ing foul, I'm not asking you', to the Liverpool bench as Klopp told him to calm down.

Clearly fuming by the decision to award a free-kick in the first place, Lampard will have been incensed that the resulting kick from Trent Alexander-Arnold went in to double their lead.

Much has been made of the bust-up between the coaches and Liverpool fans have had plenty to say about the incident, notably Lampard's behaviour.

Here's what supporters have had to say on Twitter:

Lampard was quizzed about the incident after the game and played it down as he sent an important message to Klopp's side.

"Fair play to Liverpool Football Club, they've won the league, but also don't get too arrogant with it," he said.

"That was my point, but it's done. In match play, you can get emotional and that was it.

"For me, it wasn't a foul from Kovacic, and there were a lot of things that weren't going our way.

"But I've not got a problem with Jurgen Klopp. The way he's managed this team has been fantastic."
