Crvena zvezda ace Timi Max Elsnik has admitted they had their keeper Matheus to thank for helping them draw with Celtic in their opening Europa League clash.
Celtic returned from Serbia with a hard-fought point after a 1-1 draw.
But they were denied on several occasions by fine saves from the home side's Brazilian keeper, who was on top form.
And Slovenian international Elsnik thanked the former Braga shotstopper for keeping his side in the game.

He said: "Matheus was a hero. He saved us on a few occasions.
"We are sorry we couldn't start the campaign with a victory, but when you are losing 1-0 in the second half, a point is not a bad result.
"Celtic have quality, they are dominant in their own league in Scotland.
"It was a very good game and it could have gone either way. "We also had several chances to score goals and we put in a few dangerous crosses that we didn't manage to convert.
"But we have seven games left to qualify and we believe we can do it."
Meanwhile, Red Star scorer Marko Arnautovic created a piece of Europa League history with his goal last night.
It was the 36-year-old Austrian veteran's first goal in the competition since he scored as a kid for Twente Enschede in 2009 against Marseille.
And it's the longest ever time gap between goals scored by a player in the Europa League and UEFA Cup in the competition's 54-year history.
