Sen. Ted Cruz is continuing his support for Donald Trump despite the leaked video that hints at sexual assault.
Visiting a Mexican restaurant in Muleshoe, Texas, Cruz responded to a question from a local TV station about whether he would support the Republican presidential nominee by immediately jumping to Hillary Clinton.
"I'm supporting the Republican nominee because I think Hillary Clinton is an absolute disaster," Cruz said. "My differences with Donald, I have articulated at great length."
Cruz was one of the last holdouts against Trump, famously telling the Republican National Convention to "vote your conscience" in July before endorsing Trump last month.
But Cruz also criticized the media on Twitter in light of the release of a video of Trump hinting at making unwanted sexual advances: "NBC had tape 11 yrs. Apprentice producer says they have more & worse. So why not release in 2015? In March? Why wait till October?"
