Jackie Apostel has clapped back at a fan who described her relationship with Cruz Beckham as “weird” due to their 10-year age gap.
On Friday, Victoria Beckham shared a post on Instagram of her family attending the launch of her Spring/Summer 2026 collection at Paris Fashion Week.
Posing alongside former Vogue US editor-in-chief Anna Wintour — which some fans found as a funny replacement for rumoured estranged son, Brooklyn Beckham — was David Beckham, Harper Beckham, Romeo Beckham, Cruz and Jackie.
Alongside the jokes regarding Anna being the new Brooklyn, one user questioned Cruz and Jackie’s relationship, specifically their 10-year age gap.
“Why is a 29-year-old dating a 20 that’s just weird,” the user wrote before specifying that she was commenting on Cruz and Jackie.
While many fans rushed to Jackie’s defence, Jackie herself clapped back at the user with all the reasons why she’s dating the power couple’s son.
“Because he’s kind, funny, smart, caring, driven, mature, talented, loyal, and also quite handsome,” Jackie penned.
The user has yet to respond to Jackie’s sweet clapback, but other fans have come forward to applaud her for her graceful response.
“Let them know Jackie!!!” one person wrote.
“Yes. Well said,” another penned.
Cruz, 20, and Jackie, 29, were first romantically linked back in June 2024 when they were spotted at Glastonbury. They then made their relationship IG official in October 2024.
The famous family made headlines earlier in the year following a rumoured rift between Brooklyn, his wife Nicola Peltz, and the rest of the Beckham clan.
To give you the TL;DR, rumours of a feud between the duo and the family first surfaced when Brooklyn and Nicola failed to attend the Met Gala. Fans then noticed Brooklyn was absent from David’s 50th extravaganza.
However, rumours claimed the feud was actually surrounding Romeo’s now-ex, Kim Turnbull, who allegedly has a romantic history with Brooklyn, which she has since denied. But then other rumours claimed the rift actually stemmed from personality clashes between Victoria and Nicola.
Amongst the rumoured beef, Cruz was accused of posting shading comments regarding his brother and his missus.
