Cruz Beckham plays 'Oasis-inspired' gig in front of 100 punters at iconic London pub

Cruz Beckham took his budding music career to the next level as he played an intimate gig to 100 people at a pub in east London.

Victoria and David Beckham’s youngest son made a surprise appearance at The George Tavern in Shadwell, where the likes of Amy Winehouse have previously played.

The 20-year-old took to a small wooden stage with a band to perform his original songs, including Optics, Caroline, For Your Love, and Lick The Toad.

“This is really special for me. I just want to thank everyone for being here tonight,” he told the audience on Tuesday night, according to the MailOnline.

Cruz - who is rumoured to be feuding with his older brother Brooklyn - did not appear to have been supported by his famous relatives on the night.

However, his girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 29, was in the crowd, sharing a tearful image of herself watching him perform on Instagram.

“Safe to say I did not keep it together,” the model wrote.

She added after the show: “Unannounced, just working on his craft, doing his little thing, having fun, learning, preparing, all HIS songs made by HIM played by HIM sang by HIM, absolutely smashing it, I love you.”

A source at the show told MailOnline: “Cruz was a little nervous, but once he got going, the crowd went wild for him.

“He's clearly spent the summer listening to Oasis. He's got a decent voice, can play the guitar, and his songs are certainly catchy.”

The insider likened his music to bands like The Kooks and Kaiser Chiefs, adding: “I would describe his style as catchy indie landfill.”

Cruz’s debut album is expected to be released later this month. He teased fans by sharing a photo with the date, “24.10.25” on Instagram.

Earlier this week, he also shared a photo of the text: “Nobody told me the new Cruz Beckham singles are coming soon.”

In August, Victoria shared a heartwarming video of Cruz and David performing a classic Frank Sinatra hit while relaxing on their private yacht.

The fashion designer, 51, posted the clip on TikTok, showing Cruz strumming his guitar and singing Sinatra’s Somethin’ Stupid, with David, 50, joining in on the harmonies.

“With backup like this, Cruz Beckham, you’re destined for great success,” she cheekily captioned it.

While the Beckhams have spent much of the summer holidaying together on their yacht, they have been noticeably distant from the eldest Beckham child, Brooklyn, for months.

Brooklyn, who is based in Los Angeles, has avoided numerous family events and social media milestones over the past year.

In July, Cruz and his brother Romeo, 23, appeared to ”block” Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz on Instagram - hours after Brooklyn wished their sister Harper a happy 14th birthday.

Sources close to Brooklyn later told The Standard that Brooklyn and Nicola were “likely blocked” by his younger siblings.

A month later, Brooklyn and Nicola held a vow renewal with all of her family and friends in New York City.

All of Brooklyn’s siblings and his parents were absent from the lavish ceremony on August 2 - a move his family reportedly found “cruel and spiteful”.
