Cruz Beckham appears to take a dig at brother Brooklyn after 'truth will unfold’ post amid family feud

Cruz Beckham has referred to his brother on social media after sparking fresh speculation about their ongoing family rift with a cryptic message on social media.

The 20-year-old posted an Instagram Story on Saturday that appeared to hint at underlying tension.

Alongside a clip of The Beatles’ 1969 track The End, Cruz wrote: “The truth will unfold.”

The lyrics featured in the post included the line: “‘Love you, I love you / Love you, I love you / Love you, I love you / Love you, I love you / And in the end / The love you take / Is equal to the love you make..”

And it has been suggested Cruz was taking a dig at Brooklyn afterwards when he reacted to trolls’ response to a Tiktok video he posted of him playing the guitar.

While the post quickly attracted more than 15,000 likes on TikTok, it also received a series of comments from trolls, with Cruz quickly hitting back.

One person commented: “Are you going to stick with this job or going to become a race car driver next or something?”

To which Cruz, seemingly referring to his brother Brooklyn's many career paths, responded: “Wrong brother mate”.

Over the years, Brooklyn has several different careers from modelling, to photography to becoming a chef and most recently training as a Formula E driver.

The posts come amid ongoing rumours of strain between Cruz’s older brother Brooklyn, 26, and other members of the Beckham family.

While the Beckhams have not publicly addressed the speculation, fans have noted a lack of recent public interaction between Brooklyn and his family.

Cruz has previously used music to seemingly share emotional messages about the reported situation.

Last month, he posted lyrics from one of his mother Victoria Beckham’s solo tracks, Every Part of Me, released in 2001.

The heartfelt song includes lines such as: “I promise I’ll be here if someone ever breaks your heart.”

Another lyric reads: “‘I’ve seen how easy things can change. And people never stay the same… I think you should know that people gonna come and go. Be assured of this one thing, I will still remain.

“I know that there will come a day when you have to go away. But you have no reason to fear, I promise I’ll be here if someone ever breaks your heart.”

While Cruz has not clarified the intent behind his recent posts, the timing has prompted fans to question whether his messages are a subtle nod to any unresolved family dynamics.

Last week it was reported that Brooklyn and his wife Nicola purchased a £10.5 million mansion in Los Angeles.

The couple, who had been renting in the area, are said to have exchanged on the Hollywood property recently.

The five-bedroom, six-bathroom home features a cinema room, home gym, and an infinity pool.

According to reports, the decision to buy reflects Brooklyn’s long-term plans to remain in the U.S., where his wife’s family is based.

Sources said therefore there is little chance of Brooklyn returning to the UK, and reuniting with his parents, anytime soon.

A source told The Sun: “Brooklyn's wife is American, as are her family whom he adores, and he feels his life now is Stateside.

“As an influencer he can work from anywhere but Brooklyn believes he has more opportunities in LA. It will be a dagger to the heart for his parents.”

They added that hopes of the 26-year-old returning to the UK have now been “quashed”.

“Until now, the couple have always been renting so there was hope his relocation wouldn't be permanent. This house purchase quashes any last hopes.”

The couple’s latest milestone follows mounting speculation over a reported rift between Brooklyn and his family, which came to a head after he and Nicola were absent from all of David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebrations last month.

Despite the absence, David appeared to extend an olive branch in a heartfelt Father’s Day message on Instagram, sharing a series of family photos and writing: “I will always be here for you no matter what.”

Brooklyn, however, did not publicly acknowledge the post.
