Crusaders remaining grounded after important win over Linfield - Heatley

Paul Heatley insists Crusaders won't be getting carried away with Friday night's win over Linfield.

Rory Hale's stunning finish secured a 1-0 victory for the Crues at Seaview in front of the BBC cameras.

Crusaders currently sit six points clear at the top of the Danske Bank Premiership ahead of Saturday's games, and 10 in front of Linfield who still have three games in hand.

"It was a massive win. Linfield are in fine form after their run in Europe and the run they were on in the league," Heatley said.

"We knew it would be a battle but we were disciplined."

He added: "We won't be getting carried away. It is only October, it is early days. This is just another three points and we haven't even played a full run of games against the 11 other teams.

"We will just take it one game at a time."
