Jordan Forsythe has signed a three-year extension with Crusaders , the club announced.
The versatile midfielder featured prominently during the club's European games this summer, helping to set up the glamour tie with Wolves after scoring in the 3-2 away win over B36 Torshavn.
Forsythe joined the Seaview side in 2015 after a goal-laden spell at Bangor, where he was named Championship Player of the Year.
He has made 190 appearances for Stephen Baxter's men, scoring 29 goals and featuring in the north Belfast club's run to Irish League glory in 2016 and 2018.
Keeping a player of Forsythe's experience and work-rate at the club is a significant boost to Crusaders as they plot to wrestle the Gibson Cup away from Linfield .
Their summer business has included the impressive double capture of Dungannon Swifts pair Jarlath O'Rourke and Chris Hegarty.
Crusaders begin their 2019/20 Irish Premiership campaign at home to newly-promoted Carrick Rangers on Saturday.
