Crusaders announce signing of former Rangers defender Aidan Wilson

Crusaders have announced the signing of former Rangers defender Aidan Wilson.

Wilson has agreed a two-year contract with the Shore Road club.

The 21-year-old will make his debut on Saturday against Dundela at Seaview after a successful trial period.

Wilson was at Rangers as a youth player before signing professional terms in 2017.

He made his first-team debut under Pedro Caixinha in May that year in a Scottish Premiership game against Aberdeen.

Injuries have stalled his progress since then and he ended up going out on loan to clubs including Dumbarton, Forfar and Edinburgh City.

He ended up leaving Rangers when his contract expired in the summer and is now preparing for life in the Danske Bank Premiership.

Wilson's arrival follows the signing of former Stevenage midfielder Ben Kennedy last month.
