Crusaders announce pre-contract signing of Jonny Frazer

Crusaders have announced the signing of Jonny Frazer on a pre-contract agreement.

Frazer has put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal and will officially join the Shore Road club on July 1 following the expiry of his contract at Glentoran.

The 25-year-old - whose former clubs include Linfield, Warrenpoint Town and Ards - spent last season on loan with Carrick Rangers but picked up an injury in February which stalled his campaign.

Manager Stephen Baxter continues to refresh his squad following a disappointing season where the Crues finished sixth in the Premiership and missed out on Europe.

Gerard Doherty, Matthew Snoddy, Kyle Owens, Rodney Brown and Michael Ruddy have already left the club.

Meanwhile, striker Jamie McGonigle is being linked with a move to Larne, who on Saturday announced the signing of Kofi Balmer from Ballymena United.
