Croydon High Street stabbing: Man, 21, fighting for life after knife attack

A 21-year-old man is fighting for life after being stabbed in Croydon High Street.

Police were called to the scene at 5.26pm after the victim was found with a stab wound.

His phone and watch are thought to have been stolen too, according to police.

He has been taken to hospital and his condition is being treated as life-threatening.

A statement from MPS Croydon said: "Police were called at 17:26hrs to Croydon High Street after a 21-year-old man was found suffering from a stab injury. Officers attended with London Ambulance Service.

"He has been taken to hospital where his condition is currently being treated as life-threatening."

Three men have been arrested following the incident on suspicion of GBH.

A crime scene was put in place at the scene.

A Met Police spokesman told the Standard the man was still fighting for life as of 10pm.
