Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and US Secretary of Defense James Mattis, on Friday, discussed the current developments taking place in a number of countries in the Middle East.
During the meeting, which was held in Abu Dhabi, the two parties also discussed ways of enhancing coordination to counter-extremism and terrorism, as part of their commitment to improve security and stability across the region and world.
They also discussed ways of boosting ties of cooperation and friendship between the UAE and US, especially cooperation and coordination in defence and military spheres.
