
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, met at his guest residence in New York with several political, financial, and economic US officials.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Crown Prince received FTSE Chief Executive Mark Makepeace.
During the meeting, they reviewed a number of financial and economic issues related to the financial markets and the accession of the Saudi stock market to the FTSE index, which reflects investor confidence in economic and financial reforms according to Vision 2030.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the US Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Finance Mohammed al-Jadaan and Chairman of the Board of the Capital Market Authority Mohammed al-Quwaiz, Chairperson of Tadawul Sarah al-Suhaimi, and CEO of Tadawul Khalid al-Hussan.
Later, Prince Mohammed met with former US President Bill Clinton in the presence of Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and Saudi minister of foreign affairs Adel al-Jubeir.
The Crown Prince, also received former US Secretary of State John Kerry at the presence of the Saudi Ambassador to US Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.
In addition, Prince Mohammed held a meeting with the Chairman of the of Economic Club of New York Terry Lundgren and a number of its members, where they discussed and reviewed economic relations between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and members of the Crown Prince‘s official accompanying delegation.
