The Crown Prince Camel Festival kicks off in Saudi Arabia’s Taif. (SPA)

The Crown Prince Camel Festival was launched in Saudi Arabia’s Taif on Saturday under the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

A large number of racing camels, known locally as al-Hejin, will compete for top prizes at the festival.

Some 30 rounds of competitions were held on Saturday.
