Crowded House are back with new album, tour

THEY'RE BACK: Crowded House has announced their Dreamers Are Waiting Tour of Australia in 2022.

Crowded House are hitting the road for the first time in 12 years for the Dreamers Are Waiting Tour.

They will perform legendary anthems from their 35-year career, along with fresh new music.

Last week Crowded House were awarded best adult contemporary album for Dreamers Are Waiting at the 2021 ARIA Awards. Their new line-up was revealed earlier this year, featuring founding members Neil Finn and Nick Seymour, along with producer and keyboardist Mitchell Froom, guitarist and singer Liam Finn and drummer Elroy Finn.

The band will kick off their Australian tour in Perth on April 1 at Kings Park, followed by Adelaide Entertainment Centre on April 5, Melbourne's Sidney Myer Music Bowl on April 8, Aware Super Theatre in Sydney on April 12 and Centennial Vineyards in Bowral on April 16 before concluding at Bluesfest, Byron Bay, on April 17. Tickets for all shows go on sale at noon on Friday, December 10.

Special guests on all capital city dates are acclaimed rock band Middle Kids, fresh from picking up the 2021 ARIA Award for best rock album for Today We're The Greatest. The band has delivered a cover of Don't Dream It's Over for triple j's Like A Version and their debut album Lost Friends won the J Award for Australian album of the year.

At Centennial Vineyards Crowded House will be joined by Teskey Brothers. Their 2019 album, Run Home Slow, debuted at No.2 on the ARIA album chart and their 2020 Live At The Forum album reached No.1.
