Crofts snaps up rental specialist OSA in latest estate agency acquisition

Cleethorpes-based estate agency Crofts has added another lettings business to its portfolio, with the acquisition of Grimsby’s OSA.

It follows Pad Lettings being brought into the fold of former Premiership footballer turned property specialist Gary Croft’s St Peter’s Avenue business back in 2018.

OSA was launched in 1987, and traded from Hainton Avenue.

It initially started as an agency for people looking to sell their own homes ‘Owner Selling Agency’, becoming a regular estate agency and adding rentals in the early Nineties, then becoming a residential letting specialist, with Steve Jackson at the helm.

Mr Croft said: “OSA has built up a real steady client base of landlords, from away mainly, and has taken care of them with a real hands-on approach for years. Steve has guided them into our hands, lovingly, and we are looking to continue to manage in the same manner. We have great experience, and the scale to support.”

Crofts was founded in 2005, building on a private portfolio amassed by the former Grimsby Town favourite who went on to play for Blackburn Rovers before returning to Blundell Park.

It has further offices in Immingham and Louth.
