Critics Choice Awards red carpet: bold colour, fashion risks and plenty of sparkle

The 27th annual Critics Choice Awards took place in both London and Los Angeles this year, which may have had an effect on outfit choices. 

Some celebrities opted for glitter while others went big with a burst of colour.  And some went for simplicity. 

BAFTAs clash means double the looks

The British Academy Film Awards happened earlier today in the UK, giving celebrities enough time to change into a second red carpet look for the Critics Choice Awards. 

Back in the US, other attendees walked the carpet at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in LA.

While there's no denying the BAFTAs red carpet gave us elegance, the looks at the Critics Choice Awards upped the ante, with more fashion risks and drama.

Old Hollywood glam
