Cristiano Ronaldo 'was feeling so p***ed off' with Ferencvaros he refused shirt swap

Cristiano Ronaldo was so "p***ed off" after playing against Hungarian minnows Ferencvaros earlier this month that he refused to swap shirts after the match.

That's according to Ferencvaros midfielder Marcel Heister, who says that the 35-year-old was angry that he didn't find the net in Juventus ' 4-1 win in Budapest on November 4.

A brace from Alvaro Morata put Juve 2-0 up after an hour of the match, before two dreadful errors from home goalkeeper Denes Dibusz contributed to a strike from Paulo Dybala and an own goal from defender Lasha Dvali.

Ferencvaros did at least get something to celebrate when substitute Franck Boli grabbed a consolation late on.

Ronaldo played the full 90 minutes of the match, and Heister says he cut an angry figure after the game

"He seemed to me to be a bit p***ed off and angry," the German told Goal.com.

"He just waved off disparagingly when asked about [swapping] his shirt. Maybe it's because he didn't score a goal against us.

"Or maybe because I took the ball from him when he tried to dribble.

"There was a photograph of it, I posted it on Instagram. It was the most beautiful experience of my life!"

There is a chance that Ronaldo simply didn't want to swap shirts due to the current rules and regulations around coronavirus, with the trip to Hungary just his second match back since he recorded a positive test for Covid-19.

Heister and his Ferencvaros teammates will get a second chance to get hold of Ronaldo's shirt when the teams meet again in Turin on Tuesday night.
