Cristiano Ronaldo to PSG transfer hint as Qatar insider teases Lionel Messi dream team

Qatari royal Khalifa Bin Hamad Al-Thani has fanned the flames of speculation that Cristiano Ronaldo could move to Lionel Messi.

The French giants have spent big this summer, stunning the world with the capture of six-time Ballon d'Or Ronaldo.

PSG have also brought in the likes of Gianluigi Donnarumma, Sergio Ramos and Achraf Hakimi but rumours continue to swirl they could snap up the era's other icon.

Messi's long-time rival Juventus, who has close to 800 career goals and five Ballons d'Or of his own is believed to be unsettled at Juventus.

When rumours emerged of a return to Real Madrid they were denied by CR7, but his statement pointedly did not mention the club he currently plays for.

Ronaldo was left on the bench for Juve's Serie A opener against Udinese, with Sky Italia stating the Portuguese superstar asked to be left out in order to secure a transfer.

While the Turin giants are adamant he'll stay, links with Madrid, PSG and both Manchester clubs indicate that agent Jorge Mendes is working on an exit strategy.

And one of Qatar's royal family has fuelled the fire by tweeting an image of Messi and Ronaldo and the caption "maybe?" in three languages.

He gave several updates on Messi during that pursuit, and many have taken it as a hint that CR7 will be next to arrive.
