Cristiano Ronaldo will be unfazed after losing two records in the space of three days as the Manchester United star has always been adamant that he "doesn't chase records, records chase him."
The 36-year-old has an unfathomable number of records to his name which means the likelihood is that some will eventually tumble.
And that's exactly what happened over the weekend as two fell in quick succession.
Robert Lewandowski equalled Ronaldo's record for most goals scored in a calendar year with the Bayern Munich talisman registering 69 goals, something the former Real Madrid man achieved at the Bernabeu eight years ago.
Two days later, Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic then joined an illustrious group as he tied the Portugal star for most league goals in a single Serie A year after netting his 33rd against Sassuolo.

But Ronaldo has always been of the mindsight that individual achievements are a by-product of a team's success so he doesn't obsess over how many records he holds or doesn't hold.
He said in May: "I’ve already said that I don’t chase records, records chase me. For those who don't understand what I mean by this, it’s very simple: football is a collective game, but it is through individual overcoming that we help our teams achieve their goals.
"It is always looking for more and more on the field, working more and more off the field, that records eventually emerge and collective titles become inevitable, some being the natural consequence of the other.
"So, I'm very proud with this fact that has been widely replicated in recent days: Champion in England, Spain and Italy; Cup winner in England, Spain and Italy; Super Cup winner in England, Spain and Italy; Best Player in England, Spain and Italy; Best Scorer in England, Spain and Italy; Over 100 goals for a club in England, Spain and Italy.
"Nothing compares to the feeling of knowing that I’ve left my mark in the countries where I’ve played, and that I gave joy to the fans of the clubs I represented.
"This is what I work for, this is what moves me and this is what I’ll always keep chasing for until the last day."

Ronaldo conceded he would love to have the most Ballons d'Or by the time his career is done, however.
The Man United forward has five 'golden balls', but is now two away from Lionel Messi, who scooped his seventh last month.
Asked what record he would like to hold when it's all said and done, Ronaldo told ITV in 2019: "The most golden balls in the history of football.
"I will love it and I think I deserve it. Messi is a fantastic guy and a fantastic player, but I think after I have six, or seven, or eight then I’ll be more above him."
