Cristiano Ronaldo's infuriating gesture that upset Fernando Torres and sparked fight

Fernando Torres wasn't known for losing his head.

But in one particular Champions League match back in 2017 he became infuriated with Cristiano Ronaldo, and gave the Portuguese a piece of his mind.

Real Madrid were leading Atletico Madrid by three goals to nil from the first left of their semi-final clash with their La Liga rivals.

The second leg at the Vicente Calderon saw Atletico Madrid storm into a two-goal lead, putting them right back in the contest.

A goal from Isco just before half time though put the ball back in Real Madrid's court.

Atletico would now need to score three more times to knock Real out of the Champions League and progress to the final.

Upon Isco scoring, Ronaldo celebrated by putting his finger to his lips while facing the Atletico Madrid supporters.

This riled up Torres, who shoved the Portuguese and then got up in his face as the referee tried to pull the duo apart.

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Torres shouted at Ronaldo, "What are you doing?"

He then called him a "clown", promoting Ronaldo to respond, "Go home" - insinuating the tie is over due to Real Madrid's away goal.

Torres signed off the verbal exchange by calling Ronaldo a "son of a b****".
