Cristiano Ronaldo's Spanish-born girlfriend has strong ties to Bristol which are set to be explored in a new Netflix documentary about her life.
As the football ace returns to Man United, his other half Georgina Rodriguez, 27, is set to tell the story of how she went from being an au-pair in Bristol to a successful model, mum, and the love of the player's life.
The show, with the working title I am Georgina, will detail her experience working as a nanny for a family in Bristol during her teens before eventually moving back to Spain where she met Ronaldo.

Netflix Spain’s Director of Entertainment Alvaro Diaz said Georgina "recognises in the documentary her life changed from having nothing to absolutely everything."
He continued: “She was a normal young woman whose life changed dramatically one day. She was leaving work and crossed paths with the love of her life. Who has not dreamed of that?”
Georgina grew up in Jaca, North East Spain. Her mum Ana died in 2011 in a car crash. Her dad Jorge, an ex-footballer who served 10 years in jail for cocaine trafficking, died in 2019 aged 71, the Mirror reports.
At 17 she worked as a nanny for a family in Bristol, and kept pals up to date with her new life by posting selfies on social media of visits to the Clifton Suspension Bridge, her local gym and cycling around Bath.
In 2015, she posted adverts online looking for work in East Dulwich, South London.
According to The Sun, she wrote: “I am currently living in Bristol, UK with my host family, looking after their twin daughters. It has been a very nice experience for me considering it was my first time as au pair.
“My host family is moving to another country and I look forward to find another great family to be part of and share good memories!
“My English is basic, but I would do my best effort to catch up as soon as possible. I consider myself a smart girl, and I am sure that I will be able to communicate easily in a couple of months.

“Additionally, I have no problem with helping out on the housework.
“I would absolutely cherish the opportunity to see new parts of the world, be immersed in different cultures and be a part of a new family that will remember me forever.”
Not long after, Georgina left the UK to work as a £10-an-hour shop girl in a Gucci store in Madrid.
It was there, in 2016, where she met Ronaldo, now 36, who was at that time playing for Real Madrid.
Mr Diaz said of the Netflix project: “Cristiano’s incorporation is total but complements a vision of who Georgina is and her relationship with the father of her children.
“But the focus is on her and knowing her also through her own eyes. Access to Georgina’s life has been 100%, as a mother, partner and businesswoman.”
Ronaldo tells viewers: “It was a split-second moment. I never thought it would be that big as to fall in love with her, I really didn’t expect it. Georgina is the woman I am totally in love with.”
The show has clips of Georgina boarding Cristiano’s plane, picking jewellery, playing with their kids and at a Marbella music festival.
The couple have moved into a multi-million pound country mansion, which is being rented by Man Utd.
Georgina introduces herself to Netflix viewers by claiming: “Many people know my name, but few know who I am.”
