Cristiano Ronaldo's former team-mate thinks he's made Manchester United Premier League favourites

Former Manchester United midfielder Jose Kleberson thinks the Reds are the favourites to win the Premier League title.

United finished second in the Premier League last season, finishing 12 points behind rivals Manchester City, but with Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo now added to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, they're hoping to go one step further this term.

It's been a reasonably strong start for United this campaign, who currently sit joint top of the table on 10 points after four games alongside Chelsea, Liverpool and Everton. However, they suffered a disappointing defeat in the Champions League on Tuesday.

United will be hoping to bounce back from that 2-1 loss away at BSC Young Boys with a positive result away to West Ham at the weekend, something which Brazilian Keberson thinks they should do considering he views United as favourites to win the title.

"Manchester United are favourites for the title," Kleberson told Paddy Power.

"That's just because of the signing of Ronaldo alongside existing players like Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes. Those guys a very powerful in an attacking sense, however, Chelsea have a great manager.

"He [Thomas Tuchel] makes his teams very organised and is great at prioritising the team over the players.

"It’ll be a very good game when Man United and Chelsea play against each other.”
