But this week, while on international duty, Ronaldo was stopped by a young Real Madrid supporter outside Portugal's team hotel.
The fan had a Los Blancos kit in his possession and after clocking the Real Madrid legend asked the 34-year-old if he would sign his shirt.
Ronaldo was happy to oblige given the fact he spent nine years of his career at the Bernabeu, where he won the Champions League a staggering four times.
