Cristiano Ronaldo's dramatic change to Manchester United culture as team celebrate Newcastle win

Welcome to our Manchester Evening News Manchester United daily round-up piece. Maybe not the first, we've definitely done transfer round-ups before, and European round-ups, so I guess in some ways it's not that new at all. Anyway, we thought we would enter the world of football in a broad and roundabout manner for you and have some fun with some of the stories and captions doing the daily rounds.

Ronaldo’s strict regime has already influenced the whole team

A player who had also made a return back to Manchester United in the summer was goalkeeper Lee Grant. But even a player of his experience admitted he could not contain his excitement towards Ronaldo’s return.

In an interview with talkSPORT, Lee Grant discussed not only his reaction to Ronaldo but also the instant habits off the field that the rest of the players have picked up on.

“I found myself a couple of times having a sneaky glance over at what he’s doing and then he will catch me staring at him and it's happened probably once or twice too many times now where I am in that zone where he probably thinks I’m a bit creepy!”

“Usually on a Friday night, you've got apple crumble or a bit of brownie and cream. I tell you now, not one player touched the apple crumble and custard, not one player went up for the brownie.”

“Everyone sat on the table for the pre-match and straight away one of the lads went to me ‘what’s Cristiano got on his plate?’ It just cracked me up how not one player dared get up and take that junk food on.”

The impact Ronaldo has already had, and will continue to have, is so seismic it’s beginning to illustrate in words the phenomenal effect he has on everyone associated with the club.

United players enjoy their evening after Newcastle win

United favourites such as Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard and Jadon Sancho, who all featured in the convincing Premier League win at the weekend were spotted enjoying themselves at the Manchester event Parklife festival. Not only was it brilliant to see them all with smiles on their faces enjoying their favourite music, but it also shows how far this team has come.

It may not seem like a big deal to most, but the fact the players enjoyed themselves and didn’t feel like they had to hide their evening plans after the game, shows the team are in a great place and the camaraderie of the squad is at such a high level.

United unveil their new training kit ahead of Champions League opener-

Alongside kit sponsor Adidas, Manchester United have released their EU training range ahead of the opening Champions League clash with BSC Young Boys on Tuesday.

The vibrant blue kit was of course modelled by Cristiano Ronaldo. Not a surprise considering the Portuguese superstar has earned both Adidas and United millions in merchandise sales since his return to Old Trafford.

The new collection includes a variety of training tops, bottoms and shorts which are available on the Manchester United official store, Unfortunately for some, however, you won't be able to get ‘Ronaldo’ (or any other names for that matter) printed on the back!
