Cristiano Ronaldo has been told to demolish a rooftop glass gazebo at his penthouse in Lisbon or take legal action, according to reports in Portugal.
The Juventus star has been given 15 days to get rid of the gazebo which would restore the £6.5m property to its original state.
If he opts against doing so he must submit a legalisation process to the Lisbon City Council, which could extend the deadline by 30 days, reports TVi24.
It is also claimed that Jose Mateus, the architect of Ronaldo's property, played a role in inspecting the glass gazebo.
He slammed the Portuguese star and claimed the respect he once had for him has "been shattered".
Mateus stated at the time of the inspection: "He bought an apartment in the Castilho 203 building, whose architecture was designed by ARX, a studio that I founded with my brother Nuno in 1991 and which bases his work, like CR7, on extreme dedication, very high levels of demand, very hard daily work.
"Watching the ignoble disrespect and defilement of our work, of our architecture, without the cumulative consent of architects, neighbours and without a project approved by the CML, building in the beautiful 'old way' a marquee on the crown of the building, is something which I'm not going to watch stopped.
He then continued, saying: “The admiration and respect I had for Cristiano Ronaldo, an excellent and inspirational athlete and an example for all that that I highlighted many times to my children and pupils, has been shattered."
Ronaldo is currently looking to build his property empire with a £7m mansion in one of Portugal’s most prestigious residential areas, Quinta da Marinha, also being constructed.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner owns a £4.8m mansion on an estate called La Finca near Madrid as well as a seven-storey apartment block in the Madeiran capital Funchal.
On the pitch Ronaldo looks set to remain at Juventus despite being linked with pastures new earlier this year.
The forward has been unable to fire the Old Lady to European glory and saw them surrender their league title last term.
Moves to PSG, Sporting Lisbon and Manchester United were all rumoured but it now looks as if Ronaldo will see out the final year of his deal in Turin.
Max Allegri has returned to the Juventus dugout and already held talks with the star striker about his role going forward.
“I expect a lot from him in terms of responsibility, he is in good condition and he is fit," said the Italian.
