Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo is linked with a sensational late summer move to Napoli - a transfer that would see him turn out at Rangers before the World Cup in November.
The 37-year-old is in the twilight of his career and doesn't have long to bolster his stats in Europe's elite competition, with the chance to do so at Manchester United not coming this season after they only qualified for Europa League action. Rangers have made the continent's premier competition and have been drawn to take on Ajax, Liverpool and Napoli in Group A.
It's the latter who could be a destination for Ronaldo to obtain his desire. Sky Italy have reported that the football legend's representative Jorge Mendes has approached Napoli over a potential move. He is working hard to find the football legend a solution that he wants, which is ultimately to play a level above where he is.

Should he stay in Manchester, the Real Madrid icon will turn out against Neil Lennon's Omonia Nicosia, with the former Celtic manager landing a dream draw at the Cypriot club he's currently boss at.
There was even some Twitter rumours that Ronaldo might even become a Rangers target but that appears to be just social media gossip rather than anything with any substance.
Huge matches await the Light Blues in a condensed eight-week period, with stars like Mohamed Salah, Dusan Tadic and Victor Osimhen all poised for Ibrox.
