Cristiano Ronaldo mocked by Everton star as Manchester United stumble again

A disciplined defensive display from Everton ensured Manchester United went three Premier League games without a win.

United got in front just before half-time as Anthony Martial latched on to Bruno Fernandes' lay off to put an angled finish past Jordan Pickford.

But Everton silenced Old Trafford as Andros Townsend's composed strike rounded off a lovely counter-attack.

The winger then raised eyebrows as he appeared to mock Cristiano Ronaldo's trademark 'Siu' celebration where he jumps and does a mid-air pirouette.

Ronaldo started doing the celebration when he was at Real Madrid and it has proved popular with supporters who often chant 'Siu' as the star lands.

And The Toffees' nearly gave United another red face as they had an 85th minute winner disallowed by VAR.

Tom Davies found himself completely unmarked inside United's box when he squared it for Yerry Mina. Everton wheeled away in celebration but VAR rightly deemed Mina offside.

The point keeps Everton in the top four and does little to ease the pressure on Reds boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
