Cristiano Ronaldo making the most of coronavirus lockdown ahead of Juventus return

Cristiano Ronaldo is enjoying a trip to his native Madeira with his son Cristiano Jr.

The pair, who were supposedly accompanied by Ronaldo's partner Georgina Rodriguez, posed for a photo which appeared on the Juventus star's Instagram.

Ronaldo heads back to Italy next week but before that is enjoying some down time with his son, who himself is looking like a potential star of the future.

Juventus have reportedly recalled their players who travelled abroad during the coronavirus pandemic.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner will need to stay in isolation for another fortnight once he gets back to Italy.

The country has been among Europe's worst affected nations as Covid-19 spreads across the globe.

Serie A though has voted unanimously to finish the current campaign after it was reported that two clubs wanted it voided.

Ronaldo's Juventus team-mate Paulo Dybala has supposedly contracted coronavirus four times in the past six weeks.

That has led to concerns over whether the Old Lady should return to training.

Ronaldo hasn't let his fitness drop off during the lockdown though with several training videos posted on social media.

The 35-year-old has scored 25 times in 32 games for the Serie A leaders this term.

Juventus have just the one point lead over second-placed Lazio with their last outing a 2-0 victory over Inter Milan.

In Ronaldo's first year in Italy he claimed the Serie A title and the Supercoppa.

But his dreams of a fourth straight Champions League, having won three with Real Madrid, were ended in the quarter finals by Ajax.

Prior to the suspension of the season Juventus had lost 1-0 to Lyon in the first-leg of their last 16 European tie.
