Cristiano Ronaldo makes Man Utd and Real Madrid admission after winning latest award

Cristiano Ronaldo admits he misses life at Real Madrid - more than he does Manchester United .

Ronaldo ended his nine-year Real Madrid spell last summer as he completed his move to Juventus .

The Portuguese helped his side to the Serie A title in his maiden campaign and will be hopeful of more success in the coming season.

Ronaldo is still remembered fondly in the Spanish capital and returned to Madrid on Monday to collect the MARCA Legend award.

The prestigious prize created by the Spanish newspaper has been handed out to the likes of Lionel Messi, Usain Bolt and Muhammad Ali down the years.

Upon receiving the award, Ronaldo said: "This is one of the most beautiful cities in the world

"I travel a lot, but I haven’t seen many cities like Madrid. I hope to return to Madrid as soon as possible because this is a city I love.”

Ronaldo, who was congratulated by Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez, was interviewed by some young children at the event and was asked if he misses Real or Manchester United more.

“I miss both of them, but I spent more time at Real Madrid and my family grew up here so I miss Real Madrid more," he added.

“It wasn’t easy to leave Real Madrid after nine years.”

Ronaldo became the only player to have won the La Liga, Serie A and Premier League with Juventus' title success last season.

He also ended the campaign with international glory as Portugal claimed the inaugural UEFA Nations League.
