Cristiano Ronaldo Jnr joins Juventus team-mates in visit to see statue of his dad

Cristiano Ronaldo Jnr is no doubt looking to follow in his famous father’s footsteps - and he recently saw what can be achieved if you’re a world-class footballer.

While Ronaldo Snr is currently starring in his debut season with Juventus , the youngster is a member of the Under-9s team.

The junior team recently flew to the island of Madeira, Portugal, to play at the International Centenary Maritime Tournament.

And before taking part in the competition, Cristiano Jnr and his team-mates made a visit to his father's famous statue at Madeira airport.

Why Lionel Messi will not play for Barcelona today as Man Utd clash looms

The youngster has already made his mark on the team after scoring four goals on his debut against Lucento.

Ronaldo’s youngest son, meanwhile, has shown that raw talent runs in the family by kicking a football around the house with his dad.

Mateo, just one years old, may barely be able to stand up, but he doesn't let that stop him kicking a ball back-and-forth with his superstar father.

In the video, Ronaldo Snr can be see with his back facing the camera, as he kicks the ball towards his son.

Mateo kicks it back to Cristiano every time, never missing a pass. He sends the ball back each time with his first touch and doesn't need to control the ball.

Ronaldo seems to have big plans for his sons, and this is not the first time he has been seen practising with them.

The Portuguese superstar returned from injury midweek to score his 125th Champions League goal but Juventus were held to a 1-1 draw by Ajax in the first leg of their quarter-final in Amsterdam.

Why Lionel Messi is three times likelier to win Ballon d'Or over Cristiano Ronaldo

After beating holders Real Madrid in the previous round, Ajax again took the game to one of Europe's giants and more than deserved the superb equaliser scored by David Neres less than a minute after half-time.

Having missed four games with a thigh injury, Ronaldo was back in the starting line-up and back among the goals, heading in the opener in the 45th minute for his eighth goal in his last five Champions League matches against Ajax.

That goal gives the Italians a slight advantage heading to Turin but, after Ajax's 4-1 victory in the Bernabeu last month, Juve will know they still have a lot of work to do.
