Cristiano Ronaldo enjoys kickabout with young Kazakh boy born without legs

Cristiano Ronaldo has been hailed as a "legend" after the Juventus superstar enjoyed a kickaround with Kazakh youngster Ali Turganbekov, who was born without legs.

Ronaldo, who is currently on a winter break in Dubai, uploaded a touching video of their meeting on his Instagram account.

It is believed that Ronaldo agreed to the meeting after Ali stated his desire to meet the former Real Madrid and Manchester United hero.

Ronaldo and his son Cristiano Jnr played a game of keep-ups with youngster, knocking the ball to him while Ali showed off his skills by heading it back.

The Portuguese star shared the footage with his 195 million Instagram followers and wrote: “It was a pleasure to meet you @ali_amir_happy. A truly inspiration.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov, who also recently met Ali on a trip to Kazakhstan, hailed Ronaldo as a "legend" in a reply to the social media video.

Ronaldo is the latest global superstar to meet Ali, following in the footsteps of Lionel Messi, Diego Maradona and Andriy Shevchenko.

This week, Ronaldo spent his Christmas Day by hitting the beach with his children and WAG Georgina Rodriguez.

The Juventus star was in Saudi Arabia last weekend for the Italian Super Cup and Ronaldo has remained in warm climates for the festive season.

Juve are not in action again until January 6 so the Portuguese superstar is making the most of the downtime and soaking up the sun.

He was joined by children Cristiano Jr, Eva, Mateo and Alana Martina - and there was even a special appearance from Santa in the heartwarming snap.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo failed to inspire Juventus to victory as they went down 3-1 to Lazio in the Italian Super Cup last Sunday.

The Portuguese star has won an array of silverware throughout his career but the runners-up medal he collected at the weekend may not make his trophy cabinet.
