Cristiano Ronaldo dresses as Aladdin as family celebrate twins' second birthday

Cristiano Ronaldo stepped into character to celebrate the second birthday of his twins Mateo and Eva on Friday.

The Juventus striker swapped his football boots for a magic lamp as he dressed up as Disney's Aladdin.

Partner Georgina Rodriguez also joined in the fun, turning into the pink Power Ranger for the event.

Birthday boy Mateo took on the role of superhero with full Spiderman costume, while big brother Cristiano Jr donned a Hulk outfit, and sisters Eva and Alana were princesses.

Ronaldo posted a picture of him with his family on Instagram with the following message: "Happy Birthday to my two sweeties Eva and Mateo! We love you to the end of the world #prouddad."

Behind them looked to be a sea of toys and presents, as well as a bouncy castle to play on, and the ceiling was decorated with balloons.

Ronaldo is back in training with Juventus ahead of the proposed Serie A restart, but Italy is still on lockdown, so was forced to keep the birthday celebrations confined to his own home in Turin.

Despite being kept away from the training ground since mid-March, reports suggest Ronaldo has returned in even better shape than before lockdown began.

Ever looking to gain a competitive edge, the 35-year-old has even been trying out news studs in a bid to improve his speed.

Instead of using the usual metal studs that fit to his Nike boots, Ronaldo was seen wearing a French make called Smartpower.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward is reportedly trailing the brand, which works with footballers and rugby players to give them an advantage in matches.

Smartpower claim their stud configuration provides better acceleration and lateral stability - while each stud is interchangeable and can be moved to suit the user.

Serie A is scheduled to return on June 20, with Juventus currently top of the table by one point.
