Welcome to the United On My Mind daily round-up, where we take a look at some of the best Manchester United stories that you might have missed.
Cristiano Ronaldo may hold crisis talks with his agent with United's poor form yet to improve under interim manager Ralf Rangnick.
But while one Portuguese star may be looking to move away, another is quashing reports linking him with a move to Spain in the near future.
And finally, one of United's wantaway stars may get his wish, with one Italian club looking to bolster their options in the January window.
Ronaldo set for 'crisis talks'
The Sun reports that Ronaldo may be set to hold crisis talks with his agent as he is uncertain about his future at the club. The report quotes one source as saying: "He desperately wants his United move to be a success, but he is starting to recognise that winning trophies with the current set-up could be a real struggle."
“Jorge came to see him and they spent time chatting through how things are going, what they think are the problems, how they might be solved and what the solutions may be. Nothing has been ruled out.”
It is still early in Rangnick's tenure as interim manager. Still, given the quality of the teams around United this season, it is a real possibility that United does not make the top four this season and could even end up further down the table.

Ronaldo recognises this and desires to win trophies and compete at the highest level; the Sun claims that Jorge Mendes has flown in to hold talks about his future if the worst occurs.
My view: There is still a lot of the season left for United to turn their season around, and given the manic nature of the Premier League this season, they are not far off a top-four stop.
It seems this is not a discussion for now and in the future. Still, if Ronaldo desired to win trophies and compete in the Champions League, he, alongside the rest of the United squad, need to improve going forward to try and turn their fortunes around.
Bruno shuts down Barcelona links
Recent rumours have been circulating which linked Bruno Fernandes to Barcelona, but the Portuguese playmaker quickly shut them down.
Replying to one such report on the Portuguese outlet's SPORT TV's Instagram feed, Fernandes said: 'And I thought the new year only started a few days ago, yet we're already on April 1! Or is this once again just bad journalism?'
My view: It is clear despite his poor form this season in terms of goal contributions, Fernandes is not unhappy at the club and wants to be successful at United.

Given how transfer rumours can panic fans, it is good that the player has come out and quelled those fears while also maintaining a sense of humour about the situation.
AC Milan looking at United star
According to a report by Sky Italy via Milan Live, AC Milan are hoping to bring in a central defender in the January window. They are currently battling fellow Milan side Inter Milan for the Serie A title, but an injury to Simon Kjaer has left them short at the back.
They are looking at several Premier League options, and Eric Bailly is on the list.
Bailly has stated before how he is unhappy with his role as fourth-choice centre-back, and a move to Milan could finally give him the game time he desires.
My view: While Bailly is a fantastic defender when he does play, his lack of availability due to injury has always been problematic, primarily since he is usually relied on when other defenders in the squad are already out with problems.
If United could secure a reasonable fee for the player and then promote a young defender or sign a more reliably available option, then this would be a good deal all around.
