Cristiano Ronaldo's son is better than he was at the same age according to the Manchester United star's mother, Dolores Aveiro
Cristiano 'Cristianinho' Ronaldo Jr is one of four children and has looked to follow in his father's footsteps.
He has recently moved from Juventus ' academy, where he spent two years, to United's and continues to be taught by his father.
The youngster has received high praise and has mapped out his future plans that involve playing for his father's boyhood club, Sporting Lisbon.
"At his age, he plays better than Ronaldo," the proud grandmother told ESPN of her 11-year-old grandson. "At that age, Ronaldo didn't have a coach but today Ronaldo is his son's teacher.
"He's already saying 'Dad, when we move to Lisbon I want to play for Sporting'.
"Now he's starting out at Manchester [United]. Seeing the two of them together at Sporting was my dream, it would be spectacular."
Ronaldo's success has inevitably led to heightened expectations regarding his son.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has made no secret of his desire to see Cristiano Jr follow his path.
"I would love for him to be a footballer, because he feels passion for this sport,' Ronaldo told DAZN previously. "He is a competitor and he hates losing."
Ronaldo returned to Manchester in the summer and his high standards have already been highlighted.
He has previously discussed the demands he's placed on his son, which often see the youngster push back, with the 36-year-old accepting he is still a child.
He said: “Even my small kids, when they eat chocolate they always look to me and, you know, we have to be strong.

“But to be honest he has potential, he is a big boy, he’s fast and he’s driven well. But this (is) nothing, I tell him every time, it takes a lot of dedication, a lot of hard work.
“Sometimes when we’re at home I say ‘go to the treadmill to run a bit’ and after the treadmill, I say ‘now go to the cold water to recover to do it tomorrow again,’ and it’s ‘daddy, it’s so cold the water I don’t want to do it.’
“But I understand it, he’s only 10 years old, it’s up to him, I’m not gonna push for him to be a football player. If you ask me if I want, yes I want, but he’s gonna be whatever he wants. If he wants to be a doctor or, I just want him thinking ‘I’ve got to be the best.'”
