Cristiano Ronaldo told fans his new club will be announced "in an hour" minutes before he was announced as a Manchester United player.
Manchester United's formal bid for the superstar forward has been accepted by Juventus and he will undergo a medical in Lisbon ahead of completing the transfer.
Ronaldo, 36, did not take part in Juve training on Friday and manager Massimiliano Allegri confirmed he had requested a move.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner then jetted to his native Portugal to finalise the remaining aspects of his sensational return to the Premier League.
Ronaldo was met with dozens of fans and reporters after he touched down in Lisbon and provided a tantalising update on his future.

Quizzed about where he is moving to, Portuguese outlet B24 report Ronaldo said: "In an hour they'll know where I'm playing."
United's interest in Ronaldo accelerated at a rapid pace over the course of Friday as Manchester City's moved in the other direction.
City were expected to wrap up a deal for the Juve star after agreeing personal terms on Thursday, but they were unwilling to pay a fee for the player.
Meanwhile, United's owners, the Glazers, sanctioned a transfer to bring Ronaldo back to the club after a 12 years away.
Ronaldo left the Red Devils in a £80million move to Real Madrid in 2009 and joined Juventus for £99million in 2018.
The deal to bring him back to United was confirmed on Friday evening with a statement on the club's website which reads: "Manchester United is delighted to confirm that the club has reached agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, subject to agreement of personal terms, visa and medical.
"Cristiano, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, has so far won over 30 major trophies during his career, including five UEFA Champions League titles, four FIFA Club World Cups, seven league titles in England, Spain and Italy, and the European Championship for his native Portugal.
"In his first spell for Manchester United, he scored 118 goals in 292 games.
"Everyone at the club looks forward to welcoming Cristiano back to Manchester."
The announcement came after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer teased the transfer during his press conference on Friday afternoon.
"I didn’t think Cristiano would leave Juventus," said Solskjaer. "If he ever wants to move away from Juventus he knows we are here.
"For me he is the greatest player of all time. We have had a bit of communication and I know Bruno [Fernandes] has been talking to him as well. There’s been a lot of speculation the last few days.
"Let’s see what happens with Cristiano, he’s a legend of this club. I played with him and coached him. He’s a tremendous human being. Let’s see what happens with Cristiano."
