Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly on the brink of a remarkable return to the Premier League, with Manchester City and Juventus negotiating a fee for the Portuguese superstar.
Ronaldo is said to have agreed to a contract worth over £250,000 a week at the Etihad Stadium, with The Independent reporting that he has discussed his role in the team with Pep Guardiola.
Ronaldo is expected to play as a centre-forward for Guardiola's City, who had been chasing Tottenham's Harry Kane to play in the position prior to the move for Ronaldo.
Juventus are said to be open to the sale of the 36-year-old five-time Ballon d'Or winner, who is set to return to Manchester having played for Manchester United for six years between 2003 and 2009.

Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes has been in Turin to discuss the terms of his client's exit from the Serie A giants, who are hoping to bank a sizeable fee for the former Real Madrid star.
However, that could prove tricky to negotiate, with City said to be unwilling to pay out a large amount for a player with one year left on his contract.
Ronaldo had asked to be left out of the Juve side for last weekend's match with Udinese, before coming on as a substitute late in the match.
Juve vice-chairman Pavel Nedved insisted that Ronaldo wasn't omitted from the XI due to his desire for a transfer, but reports quickly circulated that the forward could have played his last match for the club.
Kane's potential transfer to City broke down on Wednesday when both the player and the club accepted that they were unable to prise the England forward from Tottenham.
The 28-year-old wrote on social media: "It was incredible to see the reception from the Spurs fans on Sunday and to read some of the messages of support I've had in the last few weeks.

"I will be staying at Tottenham this summer and will be 100% focused on helping the team achieve success."
Ronaldo became City's No.1 target after the Kane deal fell through, and City are expected to pursue it in the next few days.
His move is sure to anger some United fans, who still consider him a legend at the club 12 years on from his departure.
When asked about a potential transfer to City in 2015, Ronaldo said: "You think the money is going to change my mind at 30 years old? I don't think, I don't think this going to be a problem.
"If you speak about the money I could go to Qatar, they would probably have more money than Manchester City. It's not about the money, it's about the passion."
