Romero to fly to England to complete Spurs move
Tottenham Hotspur and Atalanta are exchanging contracts relating to the transfer of Cristian Romero, with the player due to travel to England.
According to Argentine journalist Cesar Luis Merlo, via Inside Futbol, contracts are being exchanged between the two clubs.
The report adds that Romero is scheduled to travel to England on Thursday night as he puts the finishing touches on his move to north London.
Paratici looking to correct rare Pochettino mistake with signing
Noni Madueke left Tottenham Hotspur in July 2018 to join PSV Eindhoven on a free transfer and has not looked back for one moment.
The 19-year-old London-born forward has impressed in the Eredivisie since making his first-team debut in 2019 and has received numerous plaudits since.
Madueke believes his brave decision to leave Spurs three years ago has paid off and admitted he was "so proud" of what he's achieved during his time in the Netherlands.
Now, more than three years on, newly-appointed Managing Director of Football, Fabio Paratici, has the chance to correct a rare mistake in the transfer market made by former boss Mauricio Pochettino as Spurs are interested in re-signing Madueke.

Tottenham handed boost ahead of Premier League opener
Spurs have been handed a boost ahead of their opening day fixture with Manchester City after Pep Guardiola admitted that he has taken very little from his side’s hectic pre-season campaign.
Guardiola watched his team ease past Blackpool 4-1 on Tuesday night, but the Spaniard still questioned whether his side will be able to take anything meaningful from their pre-season because of Covid disruptions and late player arrivals, as they gear up for a title defence.
