Crissy Rock reveals devastating cancer experience on emotional The All New Monty

Crissy Rock opens up on her devastating cancer experience on tonight's The All New Monty: Ladies' Night.

The Benidorm star, 60, is one of the celebrities stripping off to boost awareness of the importance of early health checks in preventing women's cancers.

Crissy, who played fan favourite Janey York in the ITV sitcom, is one of the most-confident participants and has no worries in confidently lifting her top up.

But the actress gets emotional when she lays bare her story and reveals her very personal reason for taking part.

While watching last year's show, it all gets too much for Crissy as her feelings bubble over as she is reminded why she is performing.

Tearful Danielle Armstrong reveals heartbreaking reason she's taking part in All New Monty

She says: "When the doctor said cancer I actually looked around thinking, ‘Who’s he talking to?’

"And then, the reason it wasn’t detected is because normally women go for smear tests, but I had an hysterectomy when I was 24 and I didn’t think I needed a smear test."

Crissy battled vulva cancer in 2000 and underwent surgery in 2011, shortly before entering I'm A Celebrity, when she relapsed before being given the all-clear.

Crissy delivers a powerful message when choreographer Ashley Banjo asks whether they need to up the ante this year and reveal even more.

TOWIE star Danielle Arsmtrong says: “I don’t know if it would end up being a big hype about ‘Oh, they’re revealing all.’ And it would kind of take away the purpose of what we’re doing.”

While Crissy adds: “It’s not about getting your kit off, it’s about being brave enough to stand up for something you believe in.”

Raunchiest bits from the inspirational ladies on The Real Full Monty

It's time for the girls to get their clothes off after the boys stripped off on Monday night in a big extravanganaza.

Coleen Nolan and Victoria Derbyshire are back with another group of inspirational female celebrities getting ready to outdo their male counterparts

Crissy is joined by legendary tennis icon Martina Navratilova, EastEnders star Laurie Brett, Love Island’s Megan Barton-Hanson, So Solid Crew’s Lisa Maffia and TOWIE’s Danielle Armstrong.
