Ever wondered why Monster Munch crisps are the peculiar shapes that they are?
Most people assume they are meant to look like a monster's foot, but there have always been some that question this - sparking a bizarre debate.
Now one man has reignited the argument, by suggesting the crisps aren't shaped like feet but are something very different.
Tom, the creator of the Latest Deals Facebook group, shared a post on his page which shows that if you turn the crisps upside down, you'll see they look a lot like monsters, with a head, arms, body and legs, reports the Mirror.
Mind blown
He captioned the post, saying: "Mind blown!"
Hundreds of people liked and commented on his photo, with many shocked by the discovery and berating him for "ruining their childhood".
"Never realised that," said one person.
Another replied: "Gutted I've spent all these years believing they were claws."
A third added: "The amount of these I have eaten in my lifetime and never knew."
However there were those who thought it was merely "fake news" and it turns out they were right.
Walkers, the manufacturers of Monster Munch previously settled this debate back in 2017, admitting they consider them to be feet.
A spokesperson for the brand said: "We love that everyone is in a pickle over the shape of Monster Munch.
"They are one of Britain’s favourite snacks and whilst we think of them as monsters’ feet, we don’t want that to stop people from coming up with their own imaginative ideas."
