Cris Collinsworth ripped the Eagles for obviously tanking late against Washington

The Philadelphia Eagles trolled the New York Giants so hard Sunday night and it was absolutely incredible to watch it all go down on national television on “SNF”.

I’m talking about, of course, how Eagles coach Doug Pederson took out starting QB Jalen Hurts early in the fourth and put in backup QB Nate Sudfeld, who hasn’t played at all this year. A loss would mean a much better draft pick for the Eagles and this move pretty much guaranteed a loss would happen.

Sudfeld went out there and threw a bad interception and had an even worse fumble on two fourth-quarter drives and the Eagles lost the game 20-14. The loss means that Washington is the NFC East champs instead of the Giants, who would have won the division if Washington had lost.

The move made a number of Giants players upset because they had to sit there and watch it all unfold with the rest of us.

Cris Collinsworth even ripped the Eagles for tanking:

What a way for the NFC East to end its very ugly 2020 season.
