Microsoft's BCentral site has some disturbing news for small business managers - some 58 per cent of smaller enterprises have been victims of crime.

"The most common crime committed against businesses is theft by non-employees, which accounts for 66 per cent of all offences. The research also found 30 per cent of businesses had fallen victim to fraud and 27 per cent to Internet-related crime. "
