Criminal who defrauded vulnerable people on the run and could be anywhere in UK

Police are hunting a criminal who is known to befriend and defraud vulnerable people.

Aiden Frazer was convicted in his absence at Bristol Crown Court for fraud and sentenced to three-and-a-half years’ imprisonment.

Police say the 44-year-old is is "known to use aliases" and visit betting shops.

He previously frequented Bristol, Birmingham, Leicestershire, Wolverhampton, Gloucester and Blackpool.

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Constabulary said: "We’re appealing for the public’s help to locate Aiden Frazer who is wanted following a conviction for fraud against vulnerable victims.

"Frazer is known to move around the country using aliases and he befriends vulnerable people before opening mobile phone contracts and financial accounts in their name.

"If you see him, please call 999 and give the call handler the reference number 5219072649. If you have any other information, or know where he may be, please call 101 and give the same reference number."
