- The incidents were orchestrated by an anonymous Russian-speaking Telegram contact known as 'El Money,' who offered Lavrynovych £3,000 in cryptocurrency to film the blazes and ensure they made the news.
- Counter Terrorism Policing London confirmed there was no indication of a 'state threat,' but stated the attacks were intended to cause concern, disruption within the UK community, and fear for the prime minister.
